I recently did a Yuki x Tohru drawing, but I didn’t like it. I re-did it and I like this one better.

Richmond Night Market

The night market opens every year during the summer and opens from 7 PM – 12 AM. I went to the Richmond Night Market in BC, Canada.

It’s a bunch of tents on a large open space. The food stalls sell Asian foods and the tents sell cheap stuff from Asia. It’s really popular and the entrance fee for this one was around $3.75 which is expensive in my opinion. It’s still worth going.

Pocky was $1 each which is cheaper than the supermarket.

LOL I need to get a life!! Part of me loves me for being me, but the other part of me is like… why am I like this

I mean, anime hasn’t been interfering with my life. My family and friends irl treat me the same. If anything, anime has been treating me quite well LOL. I’ve met tons of online friends who love anime like me. People support my cosplaying hobby and the blog has really taken off thanks to my love for anime. I’m really happy with myself right now. I have no desire to change atm. ^^

I bought One Piece Zoro blocks/lego for $8. I’ve only seen Chopper in malls and the mall was selling for $15. Not only was this cheaper, there were more choices and I like Zoro more. ❤

I also got 8 pairs of socks for $10. The ones I chose had Pokémon and Sailor Moon designs on them.

These are basically like Lego but the pieces are smaller. They had all the Straw hat crew members and Ace. I bought the Zoro version for $8 at the Richmond Night Market in BC, Canada.

The instructions were very clear so it was easy to follow along. It also came with spare blocks in case you lose some blocks.

The amount of time to build depends on your experience level. This was fun to make, and it’s a great gift idea for the anime or block building fan. They had other anime characters too. I recommend this!

Manga vs. Light Novel

This will be a very, very simple guide. I’ll be comparing Pita Ten Volume 1 manga with Pita Ten Volume 1 light novel through pictures.

– since this is a text that has been translated into English, it reads left to right. In Japan, it would be right to left

Unfortunately I did not finish this on time for Mother’s Day (a couple of hours past) but these are important lyrics that people should follow every day.

P.S. I drew watermelons because my mom and I are going to eat the fruit tomorrow.

Funny story: When my brother came home he didn’t recognize me because I was in cosplay. Now I can dress up and not have to worry about too many people recognizing me in public spaces.

I didn’t upload these photos earlier so here they are. They’re from my recent School Rumble cosplay and my first cosplay, Haruhi Suzumiya. I redid Haruhi recently because I got a short brown wig. You can see the newer version here.

Ok, it just occurred to me that I cosplay LOL and now I think it’s super embarrassing. Why do I even do this… I’ll finish the ones I have planned then stop, or take a break. I haven’t decided what to do yet but we’ll see.

Marimo Balls

Marimo balls are live plants that grow in water. The one with the “hat” (on the left) is LUFFY, and the one on the right is Zoro because it looks like his head. Luffy and Zoro are characters from the anime, One Piece. Luffy always wears a straw hat and Zoro’s hair is green. I think I’m funny hahaha.

The container was from Daiso, and so were the pebbles and decoration.
