I didn’t upload these photos earlier so here they are. They’re from my recent School Rumble cosplay and my first cosplay, Haruhi Suzumiya. I redid Haruhi recently because I got a short brown wig. You can see the newer version here.
Ok, it just occurred to me that I cosplay LOL and now I think it’s super embarrassing. Why do I even do this… I’ll finish the ones I have planned then stop, or take a break. I haven’t decided what to do yet but we’ll see.
I’ve cosplayed as Haruhi Suzumiya before but this time I have a wig.
rip I haven’t drawn in so long that my tablet is gathering dust. *sweats* I can’t wait for the term to be over so I can relax for two weeks… then start summer school. ;__;
I am an adult woman who dresses up as girl characters (and sometimes as boys), plays with toys,
is a fujoshi, and is in love with 2D boys. I also have no desire to change. ^^
Pros: cute faces and props, allows different actions (for example, holding the speaker or pointing to her face as she sticks her tongue out, etc.)
Cons: huge, heavy head which makes it difficult to move without something coming off ;_;
I feel like Haruhi Suzumiya is a classic nendoroid to have in the anime fan’s room. Overall, I sincerely don’t recommend buying this if you’re going to pay $40 or so. I got mine for $8 at a Japanese festival so I have no regrets. If you have money to spend on nendoroids, get one with a smaller head.
This post is a continuation of My Month in Pictures. I’m not sure if I will do this in the future, because I take too many photos.
I wore my Haruhi Suzumiya cosplay, but wore a cardigan with it this time (and tights instead of knee high socks).
A is so cute OMGG
Listening to: flumpool – 明日への賛歌 & Mayday 五月天 – 好好 (想把你寫成一首歌)
I ❤ flumpool & Mayday 五月天!
I just wanted to thank my friend, Carmen, for making my headband for me. I would also like to thank my friends for coming with me to the Japanese festival. I couldn’t get a wig on time but that’s okay!
I had fun! I also learned that I could never and would never make a Facebook Page for myself. I’m not a big social media person after all. In the end, staying home watching “Detective Conan” while eating vanilla ice cream is the best.
So I cosplayed as Haruhi Suzumiya from the anime, “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.” I bought this figure and it was really cheap for $8. I say it was really cheap because it comes with two other faces (you can change them), and different arms and fingers. You can customize her in several ways.
