Happier Things

I went to Ki Tea House, which is an anime bubble tea cafe in Burnaby, BC (Canada). They have One Piece decorations and anime figurines. There are bookshelves of manga to read. I went there to study after school one day and drank bubble tea. I also read manga there, as it was my assigned reading for Anime class.

I went to Marulilu Cafe yesterday in Vancouver and ordered omurice. It was brunch for me. I went to these places by myself LOL and I had a lot of fun. I think I am somewhat selective when it comes to who I hang out with. Some people gossip too much and I really do not care at all about other peoples’ business… Some people have no compatibility with me. Although, this is rarely an issue.

Life Update

I’m in a couple more polaroid photos but I don’t have good photos of them.

For my electives this term I’m taking Comics and Anime. I’m excited for Comics because I will have a chance to improve my sketching and have it actually count as homework. Anime class is good too because reading manga (ex. Ouran High School Host Club) is my homework! Plus, we will watch some anime films during class time like Kimi no Na Wa.

I also got the Kiki’s Delivery Service cosplay from my Secret Santa. ^^ I don’t have the Kimi no Na Wa bracelet/hair tie but I will still cosplay as Mitsuha one day. I’m still waiting for my eyeshadow to arrive so makeup for cosplays will have to wait.

Thanks to everyone who wished me luck on my search for strawberry water. I found it again, and bought 12 bottles, lol.

I feel a little ashamed by the fact that I haven’t done these award posts. I get at least 5 nominations every two months. >< If I do all the awards, then over half of my posts will be on them. Moyatori’s questions seem pretty quick to answer. Plus, we go to the same school. Although, I haven’t met Moyatori in real life.

1. I haven’t changed my avatar since January 2015, lol. I chose the bubble tea picture because I like bubble tea. Now everyone identifies me through the avatar so I don’t plan on changing it any time soon.
2. Just about everyone who has me on social media knows about my blog. That’s because I link my blog to my Facebook and Instagram accounts. I do tell some people about my blog, but most people find it through social media. They ask me about it later or tell me they read my blog. I don’t have my family on social media so I don’t think my parents know about my blog. My brother does but he doesn’t check it. I prefer things to be this way because I want to be able to blog without being confronted about it. For example, if I write that I am feeling negative, I don’t really like it when people ask me to explain my situation.
3. Mostly the same. I try to be my most authentic self on my blog but it’s difficult to express myself 100% the same because I don’t blog about every aspect of my life. I generally blog when I’m in a good mood so maybe the more negative side of me is not being shown. I do wear glasses all the time, even though I generally don’t wear them in my pictures.
