Luffy is a character from my favourite anime of all time, One Piece. This is a casual Luffy cosplay because I’m wearing a Luffy gear second shirt from Uniqlo. I’m holding a fan signed by Usopp’s Japanese voice actor, Kappei Yamaguchi!
I also cosplayed as Conan from Detective Conan. I’ll cosplay him again in the future (Ran too!).
my cardigan is falling off
5 toppings – pearls, grass jelly, coconut jelly, pudding, red bean
I know I haven’t cosplayed in a while but guess what guys? I feel pretty motivated right now. 😉
- Casual Luffy from One Piece (again – I posted a photo recently on my Instagram)
- Rachel Gardner from Angels of Death
- Light Yagami from Death Note
- Conan from Detective Conan
- Hotaru Shidare from Dagashi Kashi
- Yuki from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (library shoot)
- Misa Amane from Death Note (makeup and shoot in the distant future…)
- Casual Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki
- Darling from Darling in the Franxx
- Luka from Just Be Friends
I ordered a few things online so I’m just waiting for them now. In the meantime, I’ll try to find time to cosplay but to be honest I am super busy nowadays… 😦
You guys seemed to like my blog post, My Love for One Piece. That’s why I decided to do a blog post on my love for anime.
Manga & Light Novels
I mostly read manga online (oops). I also own a Durarara!! light novel, Shonen Jump & Shojo Beat magazines, and other anime-related books.
Going to Conventions (and Cosplaying)
Buying Stuff from Conventions
Incorporating Anime in My Everyday Style
I wear anime jewelry, decorate bags and other things with anime, and wear anime clothing.
I also have a Code Geass poster, One Piece and Vampire Knight BL posters. 😉
I don’t have many because 1) they’re expensive and 2) I don’t have space for them in my room. The Pokemon ones are from McDonald’s Happy Meals LOLL.
Eating Food Because it was Shown in an Anime
I can feel my brother judging me for this…
Watching Anime (duh)
My favourite series are One Piece and Death Note. I also love Kaiji, Inuyashiki and Attack on Titan.
Listening to Music from Anime
My favourite opening is Unravel (Tokyo Ghoul) and my ringtone is The World (Death Note). I’ve been listening to My Hero (Inuyashiki) and Chase the Light! (Kaiji season 2) today.
Once again I want to emphasize that these are my ways of showing my love and appreciation for anime. Everyone is different, but I hope that it’s clear that I love anime. Hahaha.
Matryoshka is a song by the vocaloids, Hatsune Miku and Megpoid Gumi. I cosplayed as Gumi from the music video.

Many thanks to the team! Hope you all like this cosplay and thank you for the support!
Here’s a closet cosplay I did of Akira Kurusu/Protagonist/Joker from Persona 5.
I hope everyone likes it~ ^_^
Nankai Renai is a song by GUMI, one of my favourite vocaloids. The song is about a difficult love. This was my first time expressing more sad expressions in cosplay.
I really love this cosplay. Of course, I worked with a team.

None of these photos are edited. I attended cosplayers Hana and Baozi’s panel on posing for cosplay the other week and they said that research is very important. Research on finding a suitable location to shoot and also expressing what the character feels in the source material. Time of day to shoot is also important, in which they recommended cosplaying in the evening.
That’s why I chose a dock as the location during a time that was not hot. I tried to replicate some of the poses from the music video, and the photographer was great with directing the shots.
The shots wouldn’t look nearly as good if it weren’t for my makeup artist! So I am very, very thankful to my team, and also to my readers for supporting me in my cosplay hobby! ^_^
My friend, Carmen, went to Anime Revolution on Sunday, August 5 and gave me a signed poster of the Chinese cosplayers, Baozi and Hana. Thank you Carmen for lining up and for asking them to write my name. Baozi and Hana are two of my favourite cosplayers.
