Do you have any photo editing software? You could crop and play with contrast and color and sharpness. You can spend hours playing with images.
I use Corel Photopaint. Much cheaper than Adobe.

I have the software that comes with Macbooks. I’ve only really used it to realign some pictures so I haven’t experimented with it much. I do prefer more natural looking photos though.
