No filter, in Vancouver, BC. Many people get mixed up between plum blossoms and cherry blossoms. There are many differences, but perhaps the easiest way is by looking at the petals. Cherry blossoms have a split at the end of each petal, while plum blossoms (pictured above) do not.

I will actually be in JP next week at the end of cherry blossom season. So this is a good thing to see. I do love plum flowers.

Cherry blossoms are also famous in Vancouver, where I live. I read online that there are 50,000 cherry trees here!
