My Favourite Outfits – Fairyland Lovers (2020)

Last year, I wrote a post about Aimi’s fashion style because I was inspired by her outfits. Lin Xia from the Chinese drama, Fairyland Lovers, is another fashion inspiration of mine. Her style is completely different from Aimi’s style.

These are my favourite outfits from episodes 1-29. (I’ve only watched up to 29, hahaha)

At Home:

I love how comfortable her outfits are. I’ve always liked baggy clothing.

I like that her hoodie has different colours.

Outdoors:

Bai Qi (Lin Xia’s boyfriend) has incredible style, too. He has a more sophisticated style, whereas Lin Xia’s style is more cute.

Different-coloured hoodie again. I love her necklace. It’s so simple yet elegant. I want a necklace like that, hahaha.

This is one of my favourite outfits. I love her beret. She’s jumping to kiss him, hahaha. They are matching!

Her closet consists of simple and cute patterns. It’s a pretty colourful and light-coloured closet. *Looks at my closet full of black clothes.*

Another favourite outfit of mine. They are matching again. Bai Qi made the flower crown for her. XD

Jade Cheng, the actress who plays Lin Xia, is so beautiful. Bai Yu (Bai Qi) is too. Fairyland Lovers is an underrated drama. I recommend it! You can find the episodes with English subtitles on the official YouTube channel.

Aimi 愛美 My Fashion Inspiration

I am continuously inspired by Aimi’s outfits. Aimi is a seiyuu (voice actress) in Japan. These are my favourite looks of hers.

1. Aimi likes to wear long skirts and black shoes. I love how she matched the outfit with a rain jacket and cap.

2. Long skirt and black shoes again. I love how Aimi paired them with a plaid jacket and beanie.

3. The furry jacket looks so good with the floral dress. This is one of my favourite outfits of hers.

4. I like how Aimi tugged in her top. The cap really completes the outfit.

5. This is another one of my favourite outfits by Aimi. The runners look comfortable and I like how she topped the outfit off with a scarf.

6. This outfit looks so comfortable.

7. I love this look by Aimi. Black is my favourite colour for clothes and I like how she paired skinny jeans with those shoes.

8. I like how Aimi wore the patterned dress over a PLAIN top.

9. I almost always carry a tote bag with me. You never know when you need to use a bag (don’t use plastic bags, please) and they’re great for trips to the public library.

If I were to sum up Aimi’s style, I would say it’s comfortable and simple, yet stylish at the same time. You could own a few essential pieces and create multiple looks out of them.

Character Spotlight: Fashionable Kaiji

Kaiji Ito from Kaiji is one of the most fashionable characters I’ve seen in anime. People who have watched or read the series know that he doesn’t have a big budget to spend on clothes, but he manages to always look good. Here are my favourite looks (basically all his looks).

Changing Style & Musings

I’ve been posting a lot of cosplay pictures but I would also like to post more photos of me being myself.

Looking back at photos from just a few months ago (Sept 2017 – Jan 2018), I feel like I looked so young. I felt young too. I don’t really dress like this anymore. Bye bye, this style. (By the way, this is kind of a response or update to this post. I’m not sure why it’s one of my most popular posts hahaha.)

I don’t know why my clothing style changes every few months. Maybe I get tired of the same style. I like to think that I’m always changing and evolving. c:

Now I like to wear wide black pants with Adidas Superstar sneakers. I don’t have photos yet because I just got into the style, hahaha. Even the jewelry I wear is different too. I don’t take as many outfit photos anymore but maybe there will be an update in the future…

Episodes 9 and 10 of My Hero Academia season 3 were amazing. I’ll watch every episode, but the episodes with villains are the ones I care about the most. If the episode’s focus is solely on the students, it’s not as enjoyable for me. In these recent episodes, I loved it how the professional superheroes came together to fight the villains. It was cool seeing the villains in one place. I am especially interested in the relationship between Tomura, my favourite character, and his master.

If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you might know that my style changes all the time. Crystal necklaces are my current loves.

I got in touch with a person who makes crystal necklaces and after discussing which crystal may suit me, we decided upon blue calcite. This was a couple of years ago.

The quartz necklace is something I had wanted to make myself, but had no time for. My brother made it for me when he was ten years old.

My Style 2

My fashion style ALWAYS changes. The main features of my current style are my round glasses (no choice lol), a choker, and rolled up jeans. I dress like this on some days.

I wear denim jeans on the days I have work. If I didn’t work, I don’t think I would wear pants. At first I was very unhappy about it (I love wearing knee high socks) because I felt like I couldn’t be myself. Well you know I would be happiest if I could spent the entire day at home by myself watching anime, reading manga, gaming, listening to music, drawing on my tablet, and sleeping.
