For those of you who don’t know what Inktober is, there a prompt list with a different theme for each day in October. It happens every year in October. Those who want to participate create a drawing every day and their drawing has to be related to that theme. Most people draw traditional art (hence the name, “Ink” October).
I decided to participate for the first time. Since I draw digitally, my Inktober drawings are digital art. I wasn’t planning on doing it this year but I got a lot of support. I gave up on drawing as a hobby for two reasons. The first was because of new hobbies (cosplay, reviewing anime, and photography) while the second reason was because I had no confidence in my drawing. The last time I drew prior to Inktober was December 2018.
I still don’t have confidence in my drawing. After Day 1, I planned on quitting. I’ve done three days of art so far, so it’ll be interesting to see how far I go.
This is the prompt list I’m following:

Day 1: Ring

Ring –> earring.
Day 2: Mindless

Day 3: Bait

The idea behind this drawing is idealization. When you idealize someone, you’ve “baited yourself.” Under their mask that YOU created of them, they may not be the person you think they are. You have a surface level understanding of them and maybe you just like the idea of them.
P.S. She’s the Day 1 girl.
