I hate feeling bored so I carry games and books (sometimes manga) to keep myself busy. It’s mostly for public transit and if I have to wait for people.
Earl grey donuts from Cartems
I write up food blog posts three times a year: after the first term of school, after the second term of school, and after the summer.
Term two of school recently ended so here is part six! You can view part five here. That post has all the links to the earlier Vancity Eats posts. Once again, these are some of the foods I’ve eaten with my crew.
Okay, enough chit-chat LOL. Time to make some of you guys hungry. >:)
A’s birthday party at Basil Pasta Bar with A, C, G, J, J and V
J’s birthday party at La Pentola with A, A, J, J, K and S. Thanks again J for treating us.
Hot pot at Boiling Point with G and J | Matcha latte at Ki Tea House Cafe with A, G, and J
Noodles at MYST with A and G
J’s birthday party at Fondway Cafe with A, C, G and J | & ice cream at Soft Peaks
I went to a cafe called Fondway Cafe in Burnaby, BC and the food was good! I got these waffles. It was a little pricey but the cafe was pretty.
As I took this photo, I felt like Mitsuha in Taki’s body from Kimi no Na Wa/Your Name, hahaha.
The cool thing about being a cosplayer and/or anime fan is that you probably have anime stuff in your room! This is Kaneki’s mask from Tokyo Ghoul. I also have One Piece stuff, such as posters, plush of Chopper Man, Luffy’s straw hat, and a few other One Piece things. Of course I have a lot more anime things (especially since I cosplay) but maybe I will talk about them in a different blog post…
Singer 2018 is finished! Click here to know what I’m talking about. Unfortunately Hua Chenyu did not win first place but I am happy with the results. Jessie J won and I think she deserves it! Hua Hua won second place and that’s a huge achievement.
I also finally bought the novel, Notre-Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo. I wrote in an older post that I wanted to read it but the number of pages scared me. My plans for the summer break are to look for a part-time job, cosplay, and stay at home. I want to read my novel, watch One Piece, play video games, eat ice cream at home, and sleep. I don’t have any other requirements. My wish is to live life simply and worry-free. ^^
Today I went to a Japanese restaurant and ate udon. Then I shared this with a friend. It’s mochi with an ice cream filling. It was $5 for these three flavours. If you split the money with a friend, I think it’s a good price.
The flavours were black sesame, mango, and green tea.
I didn’t write up a blog post about the time I ate bingsu so I decided to post something this time.
I wrote a bit about my room in my last post but here are some more photos. I have a poster of Miku Hatsune and a photo of an anime character. I like vocaloid and anime. I also have little sticky photos from when I was a teenager (purikura).
There is a string of fake flowers from Daiso around my bed frame.
Froyo from today.
Listening to: Kim Junsu – The Game Begins. This song is from Death Note: The Musical. It’s from the Korean version. DN is my favourite anime.
