Day 1

Day 2

Day 1
Day 2
None of these photos were edited (except for the last one).
I bought these games yesterday. I hope I like them.
I treated myself to a matcha ice cream cone. It’s the last day of class for my Bachelor’s degree (Arts) in Psychology at University of British Columbia. After finals, I’m graduating! 🎓 If you look at my Archives, I post the most when I have a break from school. I woke up at 6 AM every Monday to Friday this term. I have a full course load as well, which is why I am graduating after four years of doing my undergrad at the age of 21 (I went to university right after I completed high school).
Readers of my blog (mainly girls in high school) sometimes email me or message me about university inquiries. That’s why I feel compelled to write about my experience, especially since I don’t show the student side of me that much on my blog.
I enjoyed university a lot more than high school and elementary school. I didn’t have great experiences in my high school and elementary schools though… I made great friends and I feel comfortable being myself around them. They are supportive of my anime and cosplaying hobbies and they are very nice to me. As a young adult, I have a lot of freedom and therefore I am able to engage in my hobbies. This blog is a space where I basically show a glimpse of my personal life in terms of anime fandom and other hobbies. Hobbies are very important to me because they allow me to take a break from school and other commitments and responsibilities. Anime and my other interests make up part of my identity.
I was accepted into a UBC program so I’m continuing school in the Fall. ^_^
I’ve completed a goal of mine: To have people take my photo with cherry blossoms in the background.
I got green high top sneakers this time. My wish is to take more photos in other cosplays before the cherry blossoms are gone this year.
One of the reasons why I cosplay is to express my love for anime. A lot of people have dedicated their blog to anime (by writing reviews). This is just a different way of showing my appreciation towards that.
My dear friend came up with the design and painted my nails.
Last year, around this time, I was really sad for a while. I stopped dressing up and didn’t take photos of myself. O: After the ‘thing’ that happened, I had low self-esteem and wasn’t motivated to blog.
This year, I don’t want to feel unhappy. I want to just wear the clothes I like, and I want to take photos of the things that make me happy.
I don’t want to ever stay mad at anyone. I want to forgive, and then move on with my life.
It happens to be my 3 year anniversary of blogging! My friends convinced me to write this… 🙂
THANK YOU to everyone for all the love and encouraging words. I love you all.
Ahh I’ve had a long week filled with exams and assignments! I’m so tired… This is a much needed face mask I picked up at school. The Face Shop was handing these out for free. ^_^
I love flowers.
(I’ll probably watch One Piece after this.)
See you until next time!
