Changes to the Blog & New Twitter!

I’m participating in a graphic design workshop hosted by Jon Spencer Reviews. I made a new blog header and graphic for my About page and I’m pleased with the final results!

I have to thank Jon because I wouldn’t have done this if it weren’t for the workshop and all the support from fellow blogger friends!

The next task is for your partner to create you a Twitter post. I thought about it and made a Twitter account. If you’ve known me long enough, you probably know that I was super active on Twitter a few years ago. I wasn’t very happy on there at the time so I left. I think I will primarily use this new account to tweet about anime and share my blog posts. I think this move will also help me feel more connected with my online friends (especially with COVID right now and because I graduated university).

My username is @melo__nsoda (two underscores, the same as my personal Instagram).

Future cosplay idea of mine

I have the mask already, I’m just tired.

There’s a reason why I love No Face. I wrote a bit about it here. I still believe that No Face is the embodiment of a person’s personality and desires. I also believe that the environment is really important.

Ghoul eye

I was encouraged to draw again so I drew a ghoul eye from Tokyo Ghoul.

Anime Boy Sketch

I finished the school term yesterday! In addition to this new drawing, I have a new cosplay which I will post tomorrow. ^__^

You know me, I like to be productive and I cosplay/blog/draw more whenever I get a break. I mean, I blog and cosplay even when I’m busy. Also I have ample amounts of free time, like a loser.

I’m still busy some days with practicum, my part-time job, and driving lessons.

I first drew this on paper then drew it again on my tablet. I subconsciously drew my favourite character… Izaya!

A Facebook friend asked me to draw Shuu from Tokyo Ghoul for her. ^^

Special thanks to Zel for motivating me to draw! A lot of the times I just watch anime and feel too lazy to do anything…

Saber Drawing

I drew Saber from Fate/stay night and used a background from a very early drawing of mine. It’s a simple drawing with no shading but it’s how I envisioned it to be.

Death Note Fan Art

Yesterday, I finished watching the live action film, Death Note: Light Up the New World. I was listening to Promise and it led me to draw this. You could say that I was swayed by the music.

This is probably the darkest drawing I’ve done as I usually do colour. I drew Misa Amane and four feathers. In China, the number four (四) is an unlucky number because it sounds the same as the word, death.

Panda Izaya Fan Art

I uploaded an earlier version of this drawing, but I added the background and changed some stuff. I was really inspired by the SNOW app and made the eyes and nose to look like the panda filter.

I also re-drew my Izaya with bubble tea drawing so check that out! I added a background and table for that one.

Izaya Orihara & Sushi Drawing

Izaya Orihara from Durarara!! is my favourite anime character at the moment. He likes tuna sushi so I drew him sitting on a big one. ^^

Nami Drawing

I drew Nami in my own drawing style. In the manga and anime, she has an hour glass figure. The hour glass makes her look really cute but I won’t draw that. ^^

There are beli in the background because she loves money. Beli is the currency in One Piece!
