I sketched Hatsune Miku last night. This is the *most* colouring I feel like doing at this time as I am still focusing on sketching. It’s missing details, but this is how I want it to look. ^^
I also went to a melonpan bakery yesterday! Apparently there is only one place in the province that sells melonpans and Japanese breads so… we had to go.
Here is another blog post on the food I’ve eaten with my main friend group in BC, Canada. Click on the links below to see previous posts.

My friends and I got brunch at Catch 122 in Vancouver. I got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and it was yummy. ^^
I had brunch at a place called Yolks in Vancouver. We got there at 11 AM, but had to wait an hour and a half to get seated. My friends didn’t think that it would be this popular.
I got two eggs, bacon and hash browns for $13.50 before tax and tip. Another popular item is the chicken and waffles combo. My friends thought there was too much hype because they thought the food wasn’t the best. I thought the food was good, but I wouldn’t go again if I had to wait.
Food Adventures 1 here.
I wrote this post to talk about some food I’ve eaten in Vancouver, but I might as well show photos of some of the other foods I’ve eaten with my friends.
Udon from Sekai Udon Bar with A,G,J
Sushi burrito from Pokérrito with A,G,J,V
Bento box from Guu Garden with my friends | Soup noodles from Deer Garden with A,G,J
Ramen from Jinya with A,G | Bubble milk tea from Gong Cha with A,G | Pad thai from Fresh Bowl with A,G,J | Waffle fries from McDonald’s with A
This is a combination of sushi and a burrito. It is sushi in the size of a burrito. What I liked about it is that you can choose your own fillings. It was really good! I think that it is worth getting to try out for the first time, but I would not buy this too many times because it is a little pricey. It was about $10. Regular sushi is a lot cheaper and a burrito with rice, beans, and meat is more filling.
McDonald’s waffle fries (for a limited time in Canada):
If you live in Canada, I recommend that you get this soon because it is only here for a limited time. It’s about $3. I finished this pretty quickly and I think that regular fries are more filling. I still recommend that you get this because it’s cool!
Basically, I feel more mature. (maybe because I am actually an adult…)
Mint in my water, grown from a friend’s backyard
I used to care so much about the littlest things, to the point where I was not happy. Every day had to be worthwhile; otherwise, it was a waste. I think differently now. Giving it your best at school, work, volunteer, and social relationships is good already. Even if volunteer and work was just like any other day, the fact that it went smoothly should be enough. I used to be upset if I wasted my free time being lazy around the house. Now I enjoy having a peaceful and relaxing day at home. It’s fun to spend the day alone, reading romance manga and laying in my bed. There is no longer a desire to see my friends everyday, because I know that they are still there for me. I’m really happy with myself. Commitments outside of home are already time-consuming and they require a lot of energy, so time at home is really the best. In the end, everything is worth it and nothing is wasted.
