My Week in Pictures 3

It’s been a couple of years since my last Week in Pictures post.

For those of you wondering, yes, I am double vaccinated. Masks are not required indoors or outdoors in BC, Canada. I still wear masks when I go out (minus restaurants and secluded areas). I actually double mask and avoid places where there are a lot of people.

I loved the mango roll and aburi sushi. Everything was so fresh.

I got the Original pork loin and tried a bit of my friend’s Double Cheese pork loin. The portions were huge and the meat was crispy.

I finally got a hair cut! Just in time for the current heat wave, too.

I found three four-leaf clovers this week. You can find me at my Instagram clover account @misswaves

      • Working from home definitely has its perks but not being able to see people is not one of them. Now that the restrictions are lifting, I’m waiting for cases to spike again. Enjoy the freedom while it lasts πŸ˜…

Alberta is so lax now that I just know it’s going to be a recipe for disaster. I used to do contact tracing but they dropped it and dropped tracking case counts. I’m not sure what it’s like in BC. It seems like every province has its own set of rules.

  1. Aww I love the photos! I’m glad you’ve been able to go out & have a little fun. I’ve not eaten out or even been for a coffee since last March 2020 and I miss it. You look so pretty – the haircut suits you! Beautiful πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›

    • Thanks, Caz! It was my first week outside with friends since pre-pandamic days. I work from home and didn’t really feel safe going outside until recently. I hope you can enjoy cafes and other places safely soon!!

Aww, thank you so much!! πŸ’“

  2. We’re seeing the case counts go up in my county here on the other side of the border. I’m just really exhausted by it. I just wish people would get vaccinated so we could get this over with. I feel like we’re just in a new cycle of the same old thing.

      • Yeah. I’ve heard of people selling faked vax cards. It’s crazy. When did we get this scared of well-established science. It’s not like we don’t know how vaccinations are supposed to work.

        It’s just frustrating.
