July’s Favourites

We’re only a little over a week in July but these are my favourite things from this month! The last time I did a monthly favourite post was back in December 2017, so I thought it was time to do another one.

1. Photography

Thanks Carmen for the mug and strawberry matcha

I love taking photos of things I see in my life. I post my favourite photos on this blog, so this blog is my online photo diary. Everyone is welcome to look into a glimpse of my life.

2. Attack on Titan season 3

The new anime season is coming out this month and I’m excited to watch it. I haven’t watched it yet since it’s not out yet but I’m still putting it on this list LOL.

3. Dr Pepper

There’s no doubt that Steins;Gate increased Dr Pepper sales, but I’ve loved Dr Pepper before I watched it hahaha. When Okabe said that, I felt that.

4. Sushi

I like to eat tuna sushi just like my favourite anime character, Izaya Orihara.

5. Blue mophead hydrangea

I would love to cosplay in front of these flowers one day.

6. Mochi ice cream

I’ve only had it once and it was so good. I can’t wait to eat this again.

7. …

I only have two on each ear, but I love wearing earrings. Piercings are a way for me to express myself and I feel like myself with them. I think I’m done getting piercings for now.

8.Β TOMS shoes

I LOVED my sparkly black TOMS in 2015 but those were trashed a long time ago. I recently bought plain black TOMS and I wear them all the time! I like them because they feel very light.

9.Β Watermelon

Watermelons are my second favourite fruits! First favourite fruit would be blueberries. I used to be obsessed with strawberries but people change. I know I’m constantly changing.

Maybe you were expecting skincare or makeup products because that’s what most people do, but these are my favourite things of the month. Hahaha.

P.S. I KNOW that I talk about myself a lot. However, you must understand that my blog was originally an online diary and it is still an online diary. This blog did not start as an anime blog right off the bat. Anime posts came gradually.

When I write about anime, I often make the post a little personal. However, I think that adding your own experiences are nice because you get a unique perspective.

  1. I think it’s great to add a personal touch when talking about films/TV πŸ™‚ I can get normal reviews anywhere. What I like reading is how people relate to a show or why they connect with a certain character πŸ™‚

  2. Well, you know something? That’s the best thing about your blog, and the way that you make your posts personal. Which is pretty much why I really enjoy reading your posts 😊
I also loved Dr. Pepper, before Steins Gate ( I did not even like Steins Gate that much…I know..blashphemy lolπŸ˜‚). As for Attack On Titan, I thought it would start this weekend…turns out that it starts at the 23rd…oouch…so dissappointed 😭😭

    • Thanks Michel, reading your comment was insightful!! Yes, I will continue to do what I do. πŸ˜€

Don’t worry, I’m with you on Steins;Gate. It took me FOREVER to reach the part where it gets “good” but even now it hasn’t completely hooked me yet. :/

Same here, I thought AOT would start too but I think we both saw Zel’s tweet about that… 😦

    • Mochi is certainly tasty, but ice cream mochi is even better!! I agree, I always look at hydrangeas whenever I see them in other peoples’ lawns. I like the blue ones the most!

  3. I completely agree! Adding personal stuff definitely gives your space a unique perspective, and I love it when bloggers do that. πŸ™‚ That mug is too cute! I just bought one recently is in the shape of Darth Vader’s head, haha. Not as cute, but still cool in a geeky way. XD

    • Ahh I have yet to try Dr Pepper Cherry. It’s a little hard to find, in my opinion. I know that a lot of fast food joints in my city don’t even carry Dr Pepper to begin with. 😦
