I drew Nami in my own drawing style. In the manga and anime, she has an hour glass figure. The hour glass makes her look really cute but I won’t draw that. ^^
There are beli in the background because she loves money. Beli is the currency in One Piece!

Thank you! I drew it with my digital drawing tablet and computer. As for the program, I used a free program called GIMP. π

I know of Gimp. I’d be interested in getting a tablet and trying that out (I’d probably be awful at it though so I don’t want to spend too much on one just in case!) Do you use a Wacom tab?

I used to have a Wacom Bamboo when I was in high school but sold that one. All of the art on my blog is with my current tablet, which is by Huion. Wacom Bamboo was one of the cheaper ones so it wasn’t the best. However, it gets the job done and if you don’t want to spend too much, I recommend Wacom (maybe not bamboo though lol). I love my current tablet but Wacom is a great company!

If I drew a character from an anime/manga I would struggle to make them look like themselves… I haven’t drawn in a month or so as well π¦

I wouldn’t want them to look exactly either because I want to draw in my own style – not copy. I see, hope you get to draw again soon. This is my first drawing since December.
